Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a range of equipment, from aerial work platforms to pumps and HVAC gear. You will work with a team in a safety-focused environment and develop your skills across multiple makes and models.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 1–3 years of diesel equipment experience; trade school training is a plus. Physical readiness for site work and flexibility with priorities are important.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure work is performed in the safest, most effective way possible.
• Work on a variety of makes, models and equipment including aerial platforms, pumps, and HVAC gear.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
