As a Project Manager, you’ll join an elite team that is connecting rural Americans with dedicated fiber broadband services. You’ll coordinate with engineering, financial, billing, sales, marketing and operations, managing budgets and timelines while ensuring compliance
The Project Manager role involves coordinating with Engineering, Financial, Billing, Sales, Marketing, and Operations departments, tracking budgets and timelines, ensuring compliance with grant/loan requirements, and facilitating project closeouts. This job requires planning, organizing, reporting and documenting, monitoring progress, and communicating with leadership during the process. This position coordinates grant/loan disbursements, reporting, and project closeouts with funding agencies, as well as ensures project design, environmental reviews, procurement, and contracts comply with grant/loan requirements. The PM will work closely with the PMO Manager to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. The PM will rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Education/Experience – A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, accounting or business is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Project Management, audit or regulatory experience is required. PMP Certification is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Good organization, presentation, negotiations, and communication skills, including maintaining and meeting various deadlines. Detail oriented with a background in problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. Must be able to prioritize, establish and meet content deadlines, and motivate others in the organization to timely provide necessary information and feedback. Enthusiasm for working in an intensive, deadline-driven, and high-profile role with the ability to work effectively on multiple, concurrent projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PM tools such as SmartSheets, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical (including evaluation of large data files), ability to work well with cross-functional teams, ability to understand complex data sets. Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic, cross-functional, and distributed teams, and successfully address multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
