Job summary

TEC is seeking a Business Customer Advocate in Mississippi to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty by serving as the link between customers and TEC. You will address concerns, renew contracts, and promote TEC solutions while maintaining CRM data and collaborating with internal teams.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of customer support experience required.
  • Sales and contract renewal experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office software is required.
  • Must have strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
  • Must have strong communications skills both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication and engagement.
  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of the telecommunications market and TEC's solutions.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer issues, collaborating with internal teams for effective solutions.
  • Enhance communication and negotiation skills for renewing service agreements and promoting TEC's offerings.
  • Update and maintain the CRM with customer notes, calls, meetings, and other related functions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of company products and services to encompass all appropriate solutions offered by TEC.
  • Prepare and present customer quotes and contracts for renewals.
  • Identify customer issue trends and work with the team for proactive resolutions.
  • Show eagerness to learn and apply the latest sales techniques.
  • Collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, sales teams, and other TEC departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Projects within the department as assigned
