Webb Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical in Greensboro, NC is hiring HVAC Service Technicians to join our family serving the Triad area. You’ll troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential systems, from furnaces to heat pumps, with a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have and maintain hand tools of the trade.
• EPA & NATE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC systems (furnaces, ACs, heat pumps, etc.).
• Perform service, maintenance, and warranty calls.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical components of heating and cooling systems.
• Educate customers on products, services, and financing options.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices.

Role Overview

We are currently looking for HVAC Service Technicians to join our team, be part of our family, and make a difference as we grow in the Greensboro, NC, Advance, NC & Winston-Salem, NC markets! Webb Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical is looking for passionate, hardworking, career-driven HVAC professionals with a customer-focused mentality.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair various residential HVAC Systems: Furnaces, Air Conditioners, Heat Pumps, Ductless, Air Purification, Humidifiers, etc.


• Perform all service, maintenance, and warranty calls


• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of heating and cooling systems


• Establish customer rapport and educate customers on products and services.


• Discuss and assist in determining repair and replacement options with clients for their heating and cooling needs


• Educate and assist customers in choosing finance options and maintenance plans


• Be professional and knowledgeable to gain new referrals and repeat business


• Work alongside customer service representatives and dispatch team members


• Perform preventative maintenance to increase the longevity of any HVAC system


• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck


• Participate in company-provided training opportunities and department meetings


• Assist in training and mentoring apprentices to grow within their field


• Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, and option sheets in ServiceTitan

Requirements:

• 2+ years of HVAC Service Experience


• EPA & NATE Certification is a plus


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Must have a valid Driver’s License and possess and maintain a satisfactory driving record.


• Must have and maintain hand tools of the trade.


• Must be able to multitask and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team.


• Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional follow- through ability.


• Ability to follow Safety Guidelines and safely work with heights and in tight working conditions (attics) from extension and step ladders


• Demonstrate willingness to invest time in training to advance position


• Highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible and has a positive attitude


• Basic computer skills are required.
