Job summary

Webb Heating & Air Conditioning, part of TurnPoint Services, is hiring an HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems. The role emphasizes strong customer service, safety, and reliability, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

You'll diagnose equipment, perform tune-ups, and explain options to customers while upholding safety and quality standards. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential or light commercial HVAC service (required).
• HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing HVAC equipment and reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and system tune-ups.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related issues efficiently and accurately.
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, or system replacements as needed and explain options to customers clearly.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and parts usage logs.
• Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure timely and professional service.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service.
• Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and professional appearance.

This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
