Technician HVAC Maintenance (2025-1155)

Role Overview
  • We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, inspections, and light repairs on residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly with customers, and helps ensure comfort and efficiency in every home or building serviced.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of HVAC maintenance or service experience (residential or light commercial). - EPA Universal Certification (required). - HVAC trade school certificate or equivalent experience preferred. - Strong understanding of HVAC systems, refrigerant cycles, and preventive maintenance procedures. - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain professional communication with customers. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless systems, and ventilation components. - Inspect system components (filters, coils, motors, belts, ductwork) and identify potential issues before they become costly repairs. - Clean and adjust blower components, burners, condensers, and evaporators to maintain system efficiency. - Replace filters, check refrigerant levels, and test electrical circuits and controls. - Provide detailed system performance reports and make recommendations for repairs, upgrades, or replacement as needed. - Educate customers on proper system care, energy efficiency, and maintenance schedules. - Maintain accurate service records and communicate findings clearly to dispatch and supervisors. - Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices.
