Job summary

Bell Brothers, now part of TurnPoint Services, is seeking an HVAC Duct Cleaner to perform residential and light commercial duct cleaning in Des Moines, IA. You will use negative air machines, air whips, and vacuums to clean ducts, vents, and related components, while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years in HVAC/duct cleaning, good physical stamina to lift up to 100 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. EPA certification is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of HVAC/duct cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience operating negative air machines, air whips, rotary brushes, and vacuums preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to work in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces).
• Must lift up to 100 lbs and stay flexible for extended periods.
• EPA certification or HVAC experience is a plus but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential and light commercial duct cleaning with specialized equipment.
• Inspect and assess duct systems for cleanliness, leaks or damage.
• Clean and sanitize air ducts, registers, and HVAC components (coils, blowers, plenums).
• Assist with dryer vent cleaning, filter replacement, IAQ product installations.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE use, and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers.
• Maintain accurate service records and time logs.
• Collaborate with HVAC/IAQ team to ensure great customer experience.

What You Bring

• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC, duct cleaning, or related field (preferred).
• Experience operating negative air machines, air whips, rotary brushes, and vacuum systems (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, and crawlspaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• EPA Certification or HVAC experience a plus but not required—training provided.

Key Responsibilities
