Job summary

Monogram Foods in Chandler MN is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician to operate and maintain large-capacity facility systems. You will report to the Maintenance Manager and ensure reliable refrigeration and comfort cooling across production areas.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ experience with large refrigeration and HVAC systems, industrial electrical work, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or its equivalency; minimum of three years’ experience operating large refrigeration and HVAC systems including industrial electrical experience.
• Basic ability to interpret piping and instrument drawings and read complex specifications.
• Experience with reciprocating and screw compressors, evaporative condensers, and room cooling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems for large capacity processing facility.
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective work on the Facilities HVAC systems.
• Document all maintenance and inspection activities per EMAINT and Compliance programs.
• Comply with safety, food safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work in a safe manner consistent with company rules and GMPs.
• Plumbing tasks as needed.

Operate and maintain HVAC systems. This position reports to the Maintenance Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.)

• Operate and maintain HVAC systems for large capacity processing facility. Boilers, Furnaces, and Freon refrigeration systems, along with compressors, condensers, air dehumidification and ventilation systems.


• Perform preventative maintenance, and corrective work as needed, on the Facilities HVAC systems.


• Document all maintenance and inspection activities in accordance with our EMAINT and Compliance programs.


• Comply with, and monitor operations for compliance within specified safety, food safety, and regulatory guidelines.


• Work in a safe manner consistent with all Company rules and excellent work practices.
