Job summary

ProAmpac is hiring a Graphic Technician at our Westfield, MA facility. You will coordinate with marketing, sales, customers, printing and other personnel to create, design and produce artwork that meets customer specifications.

You will test prototypes and ensure on-time, high-quality design work using standard software and processes. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years in pre-press/print production, with strong proficiency in color separations, color conversion, profiling, and

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Tasks

• Coordinate with marketing, sales, customers, printing and other personnel to create, design and produce artwork that meets or exceeds customer specifications
• Test prototypes based on specifications

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Education Bachelors’ Degree
• Experience 4+ years with proficient understanding in pre-press and print production techniques including color separations, color conversion/correction, profiling, trapping/bleeding of imagery, color rotation
• Experience using graphic design tools and software
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Outlook email and calendar.
• Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
• Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
• Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
• Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
