Job summary

ProAmpac in Wisconsin is seeking a Press Assistant to support the Printing Department and work closely with a press operator to produce high-quality printed packaging. You will monitor machines, set up presses, verify designs, and perform quality checks while maintaining a clean, safe work area and collaborating with your team.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic mechanical skills, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with printing equipment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical and math skills are desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a team‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machines and inks to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Set up and clean printing presses to prepare for runs.
• Ensure designs match specifications and run quality checks.
• Complete quality records and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Support the team with tasks like core cutting, wrapping, and maintenance.

As a Press Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping us produce high-quality printed packaging. You’ll work closely with a press operator to ensure smooth operations and top-notch results.
