Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact as a maintenance technician by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance duties for all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. You will be responsible for developing preventative maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs within the specified timeframe, and conducting training for Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment)
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and proper functionality
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules by documenting and providing required information (e.g., work orders, logs, expense vouchers)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years' experience in maintenance

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years' experience in trades such as plumbing, electrical, or related, or 5 years' experience in these trades. Valid driver’s license and eligibility for a CDL are required.

Preferred Qualifications...

Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical trade program, trade license, and proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
