Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Food Equipment

Join us as a Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - Food Equipment at Walmart.

Position Overview

This role offers a pay range of $19.00/hr - $35.00/hr, based on skills and experience. Your primary responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on commercial equipment across Walmart stores. You will also develop maintenance schedules and train store associates on equipment care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, food equipment, etc.)
2. Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and functionality
3. Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, documenting work through various reports and logs

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance experience, including trades such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or food equipment
• Valid state-issued driver’s license for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving record
• Eligibility for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program
• Trade license in the relevant field
• Proficiency with office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
