• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Ryder pays you $2000 at 30 days and $2000 at 90 days
• Schedule: Monday–Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in written and verbal English communication skills
• Customer service skills and ability to understand customer communication
• Understanding of computer hardware and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, email; basic computer skills and data entry ability
• Dependability and thoroughness; flexible schedules including shifts, weekends, holidays
• Ability to work at different locations and create professional relationships
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Flexibility and self-drive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Must be 18 or older
• Detail-oriented with good follow-up practices
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
• This is a DOT safety-regulated position; candidates must be able to:
• Obtain CDL within 6 months of hire
• Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, background, and motor vehicle checks

Responsibilities

• Fuel vehicles; record activity; maintain fuel and DEF inventory; check oil and tire pressure
• Move heavy-duty vehicles; wash and detail vehicles; check windows
• Perform multi-point inspections and minor maintenance such as tire repairs
• Report service issues to the shop
• Assist with facility maintenance and environmental compliance
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
