Min Salary $35,456.80

Mid Salary $39,888.90 - We offer a competitive salary package that will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and qualifications related to the job. Compensation will be commensurate with your level of experience.

KSA Required

• Ability to drive a box truck or vehicle to transport equipment and supplies to other campus sites. A valid driver’s license is required with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items such as furniture, equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to operate several types of floor care equipment. (Standard, high, and low-speed buffers, extractors, and automatic scrubbers) and the Kaivac machine.

Department/Job Specific Requirements

• Requires kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching. Also requires climbing stairs and balancing, as well as physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, and push heavy objects or materials.
• Due to the nature of the job, an acceptable background report is required. Possession of a valid North Carolina Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record is required.
• Participation and successful completion of federal, state, or locally required training but not limited to Blood borne Pathogens, HAZMAT , Chemical Safety, Emergency Action Plans, Asbestos Awareness, Emergency Equipment (fire Ext.), First Aid, PPE , Reporting Practices, Anti-Harassment, and Personal Information Protection Training is mandatory.

The following (compliance) training is required and must be completed within the first 30 days of hire, with annual refresher training thereafter:

• Personal Information Protection Training ( PIP )
• Anti-Discrimination/Harassment & Title IX
• Other training may be required as determined applicable.
