Walmart is seeking an experienced Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration, to install and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems in our facilities. You will diagnose issues, calibrate equipment, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

This team manages scheduled projects, ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards, and coordinates resources efficiently to support facility needs. Members collaborate closely with internal and external partners to deliver quality service, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements that promote sustainability and cost-effectiveness. The hourly wage range for this position is $29.00 - $58.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
Where required, HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman.
Valid state-issued driver\'s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years. No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
Completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program, Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (for example, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)., Mechanical license in city and/or state where job is located, Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams., Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
