Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, is seeking an ED Tech for a 32-hour work week. The role supports patient care in the emergency department, requiring sensitivity to age, culture, and disability, plus strong communication and organization skills.

The successful candidate will meet core ED Tech competencies, demonstrate commitment to customer relations and quality improvement, and respond promptly to patients, families, coworkers and physicians. BLS certification is required.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills needed to assist in providing care to patients; all approaches to a patient are sensitive to the patient’s age, culture and potential disability.
• Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Must meet all criteria associated with responsibilities listed in the core and unit-specific competencies for an ED Tech.
• Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer relations and all basic concepts of continuous quality improvement and preventing error from reaching the patient.
• Provides timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers and physicians.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Previous nursing assistant training or related experience (EMT, Paramedic, nursing student).

Educational Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent

License/Certification

• BLS

Salary Range: $19.85-$30.05

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
