Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the Emergency Care Center team. Schedule is 40 hours per week; must hold a Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License and perform medication reconciliation for admitted patients.

Job description

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 - Qualified applicants must have a Pharmacy Technician License in Massachusetts. Performs medication reconciliation on admitted patients in the Emergency Care Center. Must be able to interact with hospital personnel and interview patients to obtain accurate and up-to-date medications.

Required Skills / Qualifications / Training / Experience

• Positive interpersonal communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Computer literate.

• Experience in interviewing patients.
• Ability to decipher medication information and determine validity of the information.
• Able to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma.

License / Certification

• Certification license by the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy.

Salary Range: $16.63-$24.99
