Job summary

Linde plc in Morrisville, NC is seeking a forklift-savvy team member to load and unload gas cylinders, move inventory, and assist with shipments. This role involves basic cylinder maintenance, quality checks, and coordinating with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 1+ year of manufacturing or plant experience; forklift operation experience is preferred, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload gas cylinders onto and off route trucks and trailers.
• Operate a forklift to move cylinders.
• Sort empty cylinders by type and assist with inventory checks.
• Review customer orders and load items for delivery.
• Perform basic cylinder maintenance such as painting, labeling and cleaning.
• Assist with shipment paperwork and routine tasks.

Job description

What you will enjoy doing*

• You will load and unload gas cylinders and/or other products onto and off route trucks and trailers
• Rolls cylinders and operates a forklift truck for the movement of cylinders
• You will sort empty cylinders by type
• Checks for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and/or assist with inventory
• You will review customer orders, pulls items from full inventory, and loads items onto trucks for delivery
• Performs basic cylinder maintenance such as painting cylinders, labeling cylinders, and cleaning of work area
• You will assist with accompanying paperwork for shipments
• Completes both routine and non-routine daily and weekly assignments

What makes you great

• You have a High School Degree / GED
• More than one (1+) year/s manufacturing or plant experience is preferred
• You have experience operating a forklift is preferred
• Qualified candidate must possess good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
