Job summary

Linde plc in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a 3rd shift plant operator to process gas cylinders in accordance with established guidelines, inspect for retesting or repairs, and assist with loading/unloading for weekly shuttle deliveries.

You will operate cylinder scales, maintain accurate documentation, and use a forklift and related equipment to support stock integrity and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in plant or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical background desired.
• Good leadership, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Conduct cylinder inspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual, physical, and odor tests before filling.
• Check cylinder quantities, styles and product, and fill as necessary; load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork; enter quantities, styles and products into the computer to justify stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation per procedures; operate a forklift and other plant vehicles.

What you will enjoy doing*

• Thisrole requires you to process medical and industrial gas cylinders usingestablished plant guidelines and procedures
• You will conduct cylinderinspections to determine need for retesting or repairs through visual,physical, and odor tests before filling
• Check for cylinder quantities,styles and product, and fill any necessary product. Load and unload productfrom weekly shuttle truck
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales andassociated equipment
• Further, you will prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperworkfor shipment and keys into the computer the quantities, styles and productsfilled in order to justify the stock inventory
• Complete and maintain qualitycontrol documentation as per company and Governmental procedures, and operatea forklift truck and other plant vehicles
