Job summary

Leppo Rents is seeking a mechanically inclined individual to join our team and grow into the next generation of equipment technicians through hands-on training and mentorship.

This role offers on-the-job learning, exposure to rental units, outdoor work in all weather, and a clear path from trainee to technician with company-wide support and disciplined safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; trade/tech school a plus.
• Hands-on, mechanically curious and eager to learn.
• Team player with integrity and a safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance & repair on rental units such as oil changes, battery checks, and PM work.
• Move and prepare rental equipment so it’s "Rent Ready" - staging, loading, & unloading rental customers.
• Support the yard as needed - wash and inspect machines for issues or damage.
• Support the rental, parts, and service departments when needed.
