Job summary

Leppo, Inc. is seeking an experienced equipment technician in Ohio who can handle skid steers, mini excavators, and telehandlers with ease.

You'll join a service team that values hands-on problem solving and customer service. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on our rental fleet, document every repair, mentor teammates, and ensure projects stay on track while delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing and servicing compact construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators and telehandlers.
• Ability to diagnose issues and get machines back to work quickly.
• Customer-first attitude with ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on rental fleet equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Conduct routine maintenance to keep equipment ready-to-work.
• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
• Maintain repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.
• Mentor teammates across departments and keep projects moving.

What You'll Do

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs on compact construction equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems).


• Handle routine maintenance to keep our rental fleet in \"ready-to-work\" condition.


• Use computer-based diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.


• Keep detailed repair and maintenance records and manage work orders.


• Mentor and collaborate with teammates across Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental.
