Ziegler Ag Equipment in Marshall, MN is seeking an Ag Technician to diagnose and repair the full line of agricultural equipment from planting to harvest. This full-time role offers M-F, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a safety-conscious work environment and opportunities for hands-on training.

Starting pay ranges from $27.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus benefits including health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) with match, HSA contributions, and education assistance.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or equivalent.
• 2+ years of ag diesel engine/equipment repair experience preferred.
• Ability to document work orders and communicate effectively with supervisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair ag equipment from application, tillage, planting to harvest equipment.
• Document work orders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Work safely and follow company policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with other technicians on troubleshooting repairs as needed.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and product knowledge.

Ziegler Ag Equipment has an Ag Technician position working on the full line of ag equipment from planting to the harvest. We are looking for a dedicated ag mechanic with excellent troubleshooting, diagnostic skills and a sense of urgency at our Marshall branch. Hours: M-F, 8AM- 4:30PM.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair ag equipment from application, tillage, planting to harvest equipment
• Document work orders in a complete and timely manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Work safely at all times, following company policies, procedures and standards
• Work collaboratively and assist other technicians as needed regarding troubleshooting repairs
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance mechanical skills and grow product knowledge

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field; or High school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable shop mechanic experience
• 2+ years of relevant ag diesel engine/equipment repair experience is preferred
• Working knowledge of repairing a variety of agricultural equipment; ag technology experience is a definite plus
• Ability to write and communicate effectively and interact with supervisors, customers and team members
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and utilize online diagnostic systems
• Own mechanic tool set
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• This role is deemed safety sensitive and requires the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test

• Lift bulky objects
• Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing, neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, ladder climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, supine overhead reaching, crawling, bin lift, high steps, fingering/grasping – able to use bolt box.
• Working Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times.
