Job summary

Ziegler Ag Equipment is hiring an Ag Technician at our Marshall branch to service the full line of agricultural equipment from planting to harvest. You will diagnose and repair equipment, document work orders, and work safely following policy and training.

We offer competitive pay from $27.00 to $45.00 per hour plus health/dental/vision, PTO, holidays, a 401(k) match, HSA, and education support. This is a full-time, on-site role with a safety-sensitive pre-employment drug test.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree in diesel technology or related field; or High school diploma/GED and 2 years of comparable shop mechanic experience.
• 2+ years of relevant diesel engine/equipment repair experience is preferred.
• Working knowledge of repairing a variety of agricultural equipment; ag technology experience is a definite plus.
• Ability to write and communicate effectively and interact with supervisors, customers and team members.
• Basic computer skills to document work orders and utilize online diagnostic systems.
• Own mechanic tool set.
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• This role is deemed safety sensitive and requires the ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location. Along with competitive pay, full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:
