Job summary

JobDiva, Inc. in Athens, GA is seeking an Active Ingredient Technician II for a six month contract. The role is onsite with a first shift from 6:45 am to 5:15 pm; overtime and weekend/holiday work as required.

The pay rate is $20 per hour and a rabies vaccine is required due to vaccine component handling. Responsibilities include preparing vaccine components in an aseptic clean room following USDA regulations, ensuring SOP compliance, training teammates, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Job description

Title: Active Ingredient Technician II
Location: Athens, GA 30601 (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Shift: 1st Shift - 6:45 am - 5:15 pm -OT as needed -Weekend work and holiday work as required

Rabies vaccine required

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing the activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
• Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.
• Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
• Complete/Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner.
• Maintenance of technical data and support documentation
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems.
• Escalation of production flow disturbances
• Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
• Assessment of individual performance in regard to the continuous improvement (AAI)
• Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)
