Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Experience as Diagnostic Technician in automotive industry.
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)

Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify vehicle issues.
  • Supporting fellow technicians with technical guidance when required.

DIAGNOSTIC TECHNICIAN

Location: Weymouth

Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic Salary + Bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm | No Weekend Working

THE ROLE

As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, servicing, and repair work while ensuring every vehicle is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

  • Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults

ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician within the automotive industry
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Strong electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
  • Experience using modern manufacturer diagnostic equipment
  • A genuine desire to continue learning and progressing within the industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
