Job summary

NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION seeks a Technician in the Surface Launch Missile Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department. You will apply engineering processes to lead team members, evaluate technical docs, and assist in ordnance system development and safety compliance.

The role requires at least one year of specialized experience at NT-04/GS-11/12 level, with hands-on testing, maintenance, repair, and problem solving to support delivery schedules.

Job description

You will serve as a Technician in the Surface Launch Missile Division, Sensors Weapons and Launchers Department of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying technical engineering processes, methods, and concepts to lead and mentor team members, evaluate technical documentation, utilize specialized test equipment, conduct maintenance and repair, and resolve engineering issues impacting the development and delivery of ordnance systems in accordance with safety procedures.
