Job summary

Gettel Pg-t Inc is seeking a Service Technician for our Florida dealership. You will generate billable labor on vehicles entering the service department and perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer specs.

You will maintain high workmanship standards, keep a clean work area, and adhere to company policies while documenting activities and communicating safety concerns to management. You will diagnose issues, run tests, log maintenance, and help manage repair times to support service goals.

Responsibilities

• Produce billable labor on vehicles brought into the service department for service or repair.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair or replace faulty parts per manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship for the labor performed.
• Keep work area clean per Gettel Technician Work Area Responsibilities procedure.
• Maintain cleanliness, grooming, and uniform appearance.
• Maintain an acceptable level of self-study training as determined by management.
• Flag flat rate that is true and accurate.
• Arrive at work, breaks and lunch as designated by management.
• Inform management of any situation that would interfere with objectives, standards, or policy.
• Inform management of any condition that would jeopardize safety, welfare, or integrity of dealership, employees, or customers.
• Inspect machinery, run diagnostic tests, and dismantle components to pinpoint root causes of malfunctions.
• Log maintenance activities, track repair times, and write reports on system performance and safety regulations
