Gettel Acura in Sarasota, FL is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to perform service and repair work on vehicles brought into the service department.

You will conduct routine preventative maintenance, diagnose root causes, replace faulty parts, log maintenance activities, and maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. The role requires attention to manufacturer specifications and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair or replace faulty parts per manufacturer specs.
• Produce billable labor on vehicles brought into the service department for service or repair.
• Maintain a high standard of quality workmanship for the labor performed.
• Keep work area clean per Gettel Technician Work Area Responsibilities procedure.
• Maintain cleanliness, grooming, and uniform appearance.
• Maintain an acceptable level of self-study training as determined by management.
• Flag flat rate that is true and accurate.
• Arrive at work on time and adhere to schedule.
• Inform management of any situation or condition that would jeopardize objectives, standards, or policy.
• Inspect machinery, run diagnostic tests, and pinpoint root causes of malfunctions.
• Log maintenance activities, track repair times, and write up reports on system performance and safety regulations
