Dobbs Tire & Auto Center is hiring an Automotive Technician to join our fast-paced, top-rated shop. If you’re ASE certified or have extensive hands-on experience, you’ll fit right in.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• They perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance.
• Technicians use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues.
• Team members maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Technicians work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• They provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.

What Our Technicians Do

What We Need

Work Environment

We operate in an automotive service environment where technicians are regularly standing, bending, lifting tires/equipment, working with automotive chemicals, and adapting to varying shop temperatures.
