Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Rochester, MN is hiring experienced Automotive Technicians to join our high-performing team. We’re seeking ASE certified technicians or those with significant hands-on shop experience who take pride in quality work and diagnostics.

This position offers a competitive flag-rate pay structure with 30 guaranteed hours per week, benefits, and real career growth in a fast-paced shop where your skills make an impact.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance.
• Perform Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.

What Our Technicians Do

Work Environment
