Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Warrenton, MO is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on safety and reliability. ASE certification or 5+ years of hands-on shop experience is preferred, and MO State Inspector license or the ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, inspections, steering/suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general maintenance.
• Complete Missouri state inspections or obtain certification to do so.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues.
• Maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• Provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations.

What Our Technicians Do
