Job summary

SERVPRO Team Shaw is seeking a Contents Technician to safely handle, move, and inventory customers’ belongings after property damage. You will pack, label, and organize items for storage and transport, ensuring accurate documentation and safety throughout the process.

The role requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in residential and warehouse settings. Driving large trucks is preferred but not required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, move, and store customers’ belongings after damage.
• Inventorize all items impacted by damage and ensure accurate labeling.
• Pack, label, and organize items to prevent loss or damage.
• Wrap furniture and large items for safe transport.
• Move items from customers’ homes to company vehicles and to the warehouse.
• Maintain safe storage and organization within the warehouse and assist with item returns after reconstruction.
• Make basic salvage decisions and support efficient truck loading; assist with driving large trucks (preferred).

If you have a sense of urgency and want to grow with a company that has seen 10x growth over the last 2 years, look no further and apply today!Key Responsibilities:As a Contents Technician, you will be responsible for safely handling, moving, and storing customers’ belongings after damage to their property, ensuring everything is properly inventoried, packed, and returned in excellent condition. This role requires a customer-focused attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both residential and warehouse environments.
