Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician located in Grand Rapids, MI. The Technician will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including school buses, commercial shuttle buses, and mobility vehicles. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing issues, conducting routine inspections, performing repairs, and maintaining detailed service records. The Technician will also help with installations and ensure all vehicles comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with buses and commercial vehicles
• Diagnostic skills to identify and address mechanical issues
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Ability to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ASE certification is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is preferred
