Job summary

Google in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a seasoned Senior Technical Writer Lead to mentor and grow a high-performing team. You will partner with Product Management, TPM, and Engineering to craft comprehensive documentation assets for both human and agentic users.

Responsibilities include developing AI-driven workflows for knowledge content generation, ensuring quality and reliability across platforms, and aligning content strategy with product goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience creating content for technical audiences (e.g., developer documentation, Computer Science course material, or IT administration playbooks).
• 4 years of experience in people management in enterprise development environments.

• Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing team of technical writers, fostering a culture of innovation, technical writing excellence, and career growth.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders (Product Management, Technical Program Management, and Engineering) to define and deliver high quality documentation assets for human and agentic users.

Minimum qualifications
