Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Technical Writer in Linthicum, MD to support the NCCS cyber security program within the CSD. You will write meeting minutes, update spend plans, and prepare status briefings and requirements matrices for ongoing contracts.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI with Polygraph, 8 years of technical writing experience, and a technical bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred). Proficiency in Excel, Project, and PowerPoint is desired. Leidos emphasizes a dynamic, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

8 years of experience as a technical writer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a technical discipline; four years of additional technical writer experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
Masters’ Degree can reduce years of experience by 2 years.

Responsibilities

Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings and capture performance status.
Write meeting minutes from weekly technical meetings.
Update the weekly, monthly, and yearly spend plan tracker.
Update status briefings to include a Gantt chart and schedule for bi-weekly leadership briefings.
Attend weekly meetings and provide minutes.
Update spreadsheets and PowerPoint briefs.
Manage project requirements, master plan, and schedule.
Capture and update requirements matrix.
Update the SOW and reference documents for follow-on contracts.
Complete data transfers from unclassified to classified networks.
Provide feedback on contracting schedule to stay in sync with the project lead.
