Job summary

White Wolf Managed Services Company (WWMSC) seeks a full-time Technical Writer to develop, write, edit, review and maintain publications for the Program Office in accordance with SOP and FLETA standards. The role is based in Blackstone, VA at the FASTC site under the DoS.

You will work with instructional designers and SMEs, ensure DoS policy alignment, and contribute to high-quality, publishable documents across training materials.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong command of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates/Designs/Maintains/Edits various publications and materials to required standards and formats.
• Collaborates with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather content.
• Ensures materials align with DoS policies and training standards.
• Selects illustrative materials for publications (photos, diagrams, etc.).
• Provides documentation to meet client and management needs.
• Performs initial and final reviews of publications for tone, layout, and production.
