Job summary

Dataminr is seeking a Technical Writer (Contract) to create and maintain knowledge base articles for a cybersecurity SaaS product. You will learn product features, draft clear content, capture graphics, and publish updates to the knowledge base while tracking changes with meticulous records.

You will collaborate with subject-matter experts and cross-functional teams to resolve questions, test features, and improve documentation strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (e.g., English, writing, communications, instructional design, software/computer engineering).
• 1–2 years of work experience as a technical writer.
• Excellent command of oral and written English.
• Proficiency with documentation and publication technologies such as word processing, image editing, and web publishing tools.

Responsibilities

• Write, publish, and update knowledge base articles for a cybersecurity SaaS platform.
• Test and document platform features.
• Collaborate with a small team to prioritize tasks and set achievable goals.
• Work with subject-matter experts across multiple teams to resolve questions and accomplish mutual goals.
• Shape and execute strategy for long-term documentation improvement projects.
