Job summary

Mythics is hiring a Technical Writer to support defense consulting programs by developing and maintaining technical documentation across IT, cybersecurity, and cloud initiatives. You will work with project managers, engineers, and government stakeholders to produce clear, compliant deliverables.

The role emphasizes knowledge of NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and related frameworks, plus proficiency with SharePoint, Confluence, and Office tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience for IT, software, cloud, or cybersecurity projects.
• Experience supporting federal, DoD, or government programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation for IT consulting engagements.
• Create system documentation, SOPs, user guides, and training materials.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather and verify information.
• Maintain documentation repositories and version control.
