Job summary

Alutiiq, LLC seeks a Technical Writer II to join the team at NC Cherry Point, supporting VH-92A FST data modules in compliance with S1000D 4.1. You will collaborate with Logistics and Engineering to produce NSIV-compliant documentation and participate in QA events at government or contractor sites.

The ideal candidate has IETM experience, knowledge of NAVAIR 00-25-604, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two (2) years related work experience providing technical writing and documentation support to technical and management level personnel.
• IETM knowledge and experience using EAGLE Editor, PTC Arbortext, or similar XML editor.
• Knowledge and experience using NAVAIR 00-25-604 and S1000D guidelines
• Writing, editing, and quality assurance of IETM data modules and technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work 40 hours per week on a consistent basis
• Must be an U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to obtain a CAC card

Responsibilities

• Develop, update/edit/prepare and deliver S1000D Issue 4.1 data modules.
• Create engineering data such as installation drawings and parts lists.
• Support QA events for NAVAIR Technical Publications.
• Coordinate planning meetings, start of work, and validation reviews.
• Assess quality plans and related documentation.
• Utilize government tools like EAGLE Editor, Arbortext, MS Office.
• Create and update IETMs and data modules per NAVAIR guidelines.
