Job summary

CTG, a long-standing partner, has a contract opening in Glendale, AZ for a Technical Writer II. You will create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and job aids for manufacturing and engineering teams.

Work with engineers and subject matter experts to research, document, edit, and maintain technical processes, ensuring ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance. Bachelor's degree preferred; 3+ years of experience required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Location: Glendale, AZ

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Glendale, AZ

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred; equivalent technical writing experience considered

Description

Technical Writer II responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, SOPs, work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and job aids for manufacturing and engineering teams. Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to research, document, edit, and maintain technical processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years technical writing experience
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• ISO 9001 and AS9100 required
• Technical documentation, SOP, and work instruction experience
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
• PTC Windchill experience preferred
• Ability to understand and document complex technical processes
