Job summary

Ektello is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer/Service Documentation Specialist for Home Appliance and Electronics. The role focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality service guides, manuals, and product content for service teams in Plano, TX.

You will translate complex requirements into clear documentation, stay current on product knowledge, and collaborate with product support and engineers to ensure accuracy and timely publication.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communications, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in technical writing, product support, service engineering, or electronics/appliance testing preferred.
• Hands-on hardware experience with Home Appliance products and basic technical/diagnostic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Author, review, and improve technical documents, test procedures, user guides, installation manuals, and service manuals.
• Maintain up-to-date technical product knowledge across Samsung Home Appliance and Electronics product lines.
• Identify, report, and follow up on documentation gaps, errors, or issues found during reviews.
• Collaborate with internal Product Support teams, service engineers, and cross-functional groups to improve content quality.
• Review technical documentation for accuracy and manage assets in content management platforms.
