Job summary

Propell American LLC in Granbury, TX is seeking a Technical Writer to support engineering documentation, including Operator's Manuals and Spare Parts Lists. You will collaborate with product designers and customer care to produce clear instructions.

Qualifications

Completion of secondary school required.
Completion of a college/university program in a related field.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment.
Strong work ethic.
Computer literacy in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office and familiarity with 3D software (SolidWorks, Composer), PDM, Syspro a bonus.
Strong visual / graphic intuition.
Proficiency in technical communication.
Project and resource management.
Able to work independently.
Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain customer product documentation including Operator's Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, Serial Number Tracking Documentation, and Spare Parts List.
Work with multiple departments to establish style and content.
Provide engineering support to relevant stakeholders.
Implement technical writing standards and best practices.
Practice safe work procedures at all times.
Contribute additional tasks as requested.
