Job summary

Garden Life Development is seeking a Technical Writer for a full-time temporary W-2 assignment in North Carolina. You will translate complex technical information into clear, usable documents, writing manuals, guides, release notes, and SOPs.

You will interview subject-matter experts, maintain document standards, and ensure quality and accessibility across manuals, training materials, and stakeholder communications. On-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the project.

Qualifications

• Technical or business writing experience with a portfolio required.
• Ability to interview subject-matter experts and capture processes accurately.
• Strong command of Microsoft Word and documentation tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain user manuals, training guides, and installation guides.
• Produce system documentation, release notes, and operations manuals.
• Develop standard operating procedures, policies, and procedures.

Technical Writer | Full-Time Temporary (W-2)

Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour (W-2), based on experience level and assignment
Location: North Carolina; on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on the assignment

Technical Writers translate complex technical information into clear, usable documents for both technical and non-technical readers. You'll work closely with subject-matter experts and own the quality and consistency of key documentation.

What you'll do

• Write and maintain user manuals, training guides, and installation guides
