Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division seeks a Technical Training Associate - 1st Shift to design, coordinate, and deliver department-specific training supporting employee development and operational excellence.

You will partner with HR to implement onboarding, develop training for manufacturing and warehouse operations, and create instructional materials focused on safety, quality, and equipment operation. Strong communication and multi-priority management are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing, production, or technical training environment.
• Experience with mechanical assembly using hand/power tools and torque equipment.
• Experience with electrical assembly, wiring harness installation, and testing.
• Ability to read, interpret, and train others on engineering drawings and standards.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and identifying root causes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to train varied experience levels.
• Ability to manage multiple training priorities and maintain records.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver department-specific technical training for development and safety.

• Promote 5S+ practices to support a Zero Incident Culture.
