Job summary

Whelen Engineering seeks a Technical Training Specialist to develop and deliver comprehensive training and sales enablement programs for employees, distributors, dealers, upfitters, and customers. You will bridge Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support by translating complex concepts into practical training that improves product adoption and revenue.

The role requires 3–5+ years in technical training with hands-on delivery across classroom and virtual formats,

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in technical training, product training, or technical sales support.
• Experience delivering classroom, virtual, and hands-on training.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts for varied audiences.
• Knowledge of installation, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and e-learning training programs.
• Create certification programs, learning paths, and technical training materials.
• Maintain content to reflect product updates and best practices.
• Measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Support sales teams with product demonstrations and technical content.
• Develop competitive positioning materials and technical value propositions.
• Train sales teams on product differentiators and objection handling.
