Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Technical Training Coordinator to lead the onboarding and certification lifecycle for the Metals department. You’ll ensure new engineers gain system access, track milestones, and grow the training program from the ground up in Taylor, Texas.

You’ll develop materials, collaborate with SMEs and Fab Engineering, and oversee progress across a broad set of technical roles, all while maintaining compliance and effective performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in technical training, onboarding, or operational coordination.
• Proven experience with learning management systems or certification tracking.
• Strong ability to manage multiple deadlines and large rosters.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to influence hires and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onboarding program for the Metals department.
• Coordinate training sessions and host onboarding activities.
• Manage communications with new hires to maximize engagement.
• Coordinate account requests and permission setups for critical systems.
• Develop and maintain training materials and curriculum.
• Track certification milestones and program KPIs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to design training plans for Fab Engineering objectives.
• Monitor training velocity and address slow progress with leadership.
