Job summary

Waukesha-Pearce Industries in Houston, TX seeks a Training Instructor to teach proper procedures for assembling, installing, operating, and maintaining WPI products. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and prefers engines/electrical certifications. Travel up to 50% and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preference for engines and electrical certifications.
  • Bachelor's Degree or accredited trade school graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain custody of training material.
  • Follow curriculum and administer field and training center courses.
  • Maintain OEM Train the Trainer certification.
  • Provide classroom and lab training to employees and customers.
  • Coordinate training programs with the Training Manager.
  • Assist Service technicians as required.
  • Handle or assist with special projects as instructed.
  • Coordinate vendor training courses when required.
  • Travel for personal training development to location as required.
  • Promote welfare among the company and divisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
