Job summary

Waukesha-pearce Industries Llc is seeking a Training Instructor to teach proper procedures for assembling, installing, operating, troubleshooting, or maintaining WPI products. This role includes classroom and lab instruction, hands-on exercises, and field training.

The instructor will maintain curriculum, administer exams, and ensure instructor certifications are current, with travel up to 50% and flexible hours to support customer and employee training needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or Accredited Trade School preferred.
• Preferred certifications in engines and electrical disciplines.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Must be bondable and able to lift 70 pounds if required.

Job PurposeThe Training Instructor has the responsibility to teach students the proper procedures to assemble, install, set up, operate, troubleshoot or maintain products serviced by WPI. This will include classroom and lab instruction, hands on exercises, and field training. Instructor will be responsible for the following the approved curriculum, maintaining class records and administering exams. Technical Instructor must meet the requirements of WPI product manufacturers instructor standards and must maintain their instructor certification (s).Minimum QualificationsMust have a minimum of 2 year(s) previous experience.High School Diploma or equivalent required.Prefer applied certification(s) in engines and electrical discipline.Bachelors Degree preferred or Accredited Trade School graduate preferred.RequirementsMust have a current knowledge of engines and electrical disciplines and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company.Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company.Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards. (ONLY IF JOB REQUIRES).Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.Must have dependable transportation.Must be able to lift 70 pounds (ONLY IF THE JOB REQUIRES).Must be able to bend and twist several times a day.
