Job summary

Benshaw Inc. is seeking a Technical Training Specialist to develop and deliver training on MV/LV motor control and drive systems. You will train customers, distributors, and internal teams, applying product expertise and hands-on demonstrations to ensure effective operation and service of our equipment.

Travel 15%–30% across the United States, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Service teams to drive product adoption and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in Technical Training, Applications Engineering, Field Service, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV motor control systems, soft starters, VFDs, PLCs.
• Experience with EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, Profinet, and Profibus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and deliver technical training programs covering Benshaw MV and LV products (VFDs, soft starters, control systems).
• Conduct instructor-led and virtual training sessions for customers, distributors, service personnel, and internal teams.
• Provide instruction on system operation, configuration, commissioning, startup procedures, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver hands-on demonstrations and lab exercises using production and training equipment.
• Develop manuals, presentations, quick-start guides, videos, and other instructional resources.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Service teams to support customer success and product adoption.
