Job Overview

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, serving as a prime integrator for high-performance ISR and aviation systems, including design, integration, testing, certification, training, and logistics support. SNC has a 60-year history of innovation in aerospace and defense, now focusing on the U.S. Air Force’s Survivable Airborne Operations Center (SAOC) mission to modernize and deliver next-generation aircraft for critical command and control during national emergencies.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Technical Trainer II to develop and deliver technical training content for internal stakeholders. The role involves creating training materials, conducting on-site and remote training sessions, and collaborating with various technical teams to ensure qualification and compliance. Feedback on training effectiveness will also be part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications You Must Have

1. Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Operations) and 2+ years of experience, or relevant experience beyond 3+ years in lieu of education
2. Experience supporting customer training objectives
3. Experience working around aircraft during maintenance or modification
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills
5. Ability to coordinate across aviation maintenance disciplines
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Teams
7. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

1. Background in technical training, programs, or communications
2. Certification such as CTT+ or previous instructional experience
3. FAA Maintenance Certification (A&P, Repairman, Inspector)
